Being healthy is the main focus of book 6 in Aku & Kamu series. In this book, Aku & Kamu learn what it take for them to be a young healthy bear!
The story started with Kamu woke Aku up and together stretching their muscles. It is important to stretch when you woke up because like our eyes, our muscles to wake up too! And what better way to wake them up by doing some stretching and exercise...

Aku & Kamu were running and racing against each other at the park. Kamu is winning! After a while into the race, Aku was having problem to keep up with Kamu. He was tired and out of breath... Aku is a big polar bear and he lives in Arctic Circle, one of the coldest place on earth. He has many fats under his skin to keep him warm! But now he is in Malaysia, he does not need that many fat to keep him warm.. He must lose weight to keep up with Kamu. Not only that, he needs to lose weight to become a healthy polar bear! And he needs to exercise to achieve this goal.

Kamu was running and jumping around the park. She was having fun! She loves to play. However, it did not last long as she started to feel dizzy and needed to rest. She does not understand why she would felt this way. Both Aku & Kamu was putting their thinking cap and they want to solve this mystery. Aku come up with an idea that it may related to their diet! Aku eats only fish while Kamu eats only leaf.. Their diet is not a complete diet. They need to have a balance and healthy meals for them to be healthy and have enough energy to play around!

Though it is important to eat healthy and balance meals everyday, Aku & Kamu also learned that it is okay for them to indulge their appetite in sweet once in a while. The key words is portion! They have to watch how much sweets they have taken that day.

Cakes and candy are soo yummy! Kamu loves sweet foods!! Aku loves it too, though not as much as Kamu. Kamu wanted to eat as much as sweet food as she likes, but Aku told her not too. Not only it is not healthy, but it could also give her rotten tooth... As much as Kamu loves sweet foods, she loves her teeth more. That's why she always make sure that she will brush her teeth when she woke up, before going to bed and after having a sweet meal.

Aku & Kamu learn so much about being health that day. They also learn that it is essential for them to drink lots and lots of water to keep their bodies stay hydrated and energize. Water is so important and without it, we will be like a dried flower hanging on the stems. Aku & Kamu do not want to be hydrated... They want to stay energize and refresh!

Aku & Kamu want to be a healthy bear and they wants all their friend to live healthily too. To ensure that everybody to live happily and healthily, we must make sure that we will exercise, have a healthy and balance meal, having food at the recommended portion and drink lots and lots of water! Being healthy is a good way to live our life, besides having good friends by your side...
